Moving platforms - move back and forth in fixed intervals. Breakable glass platform - it breaks when you get off. Disappearing platforms - they start to fade away once you step on them. Fireball trap - shoots fireballs at fixed interval. Teleport - teleports you to a different part of the level. Button Activated platforms - hidden, until you press the corresponding button. Elevators - go up and down. Sinking platforms - going down when you step on it. Great story and visuals, and some creative platforming ideas, but falls flat due to frustrating levels, physics, and lack of consistently interesting gameplay.. Annoying platformer that starts well & then has a pillar platforming section on pillars hardly large enough to stand on, that takes a lot more time to complete than the platformer in level 3 of the original Turok.... I only made it a few levels into Dreamlord..... Not very fun to play. Practically the only thing you do is jump. Hard to gauge where you're going to land since the movement is very sensitive. When using teleports, its almost a guaranteed death right after since you'll still be holding a movement key and will walk off the platform. Yet if you release just before you hit the portal, you'll likely just fall short and have to attempt the jump again. Needs better movement and more engaging puzzles than just a jump simulator.. \udb40\udc21. First person parkour is always a gamble. Mirror's Edge is super polished and clean and EVEN THEN, it still struggles with mechanics. It is really hard to figure out when to jump if you can't see your feet. So beginning with that set of problems, we then get into poor resolutions, simple, sort of ugly textures and a text to speech voice that has been run through a ghost filter. The Negators just dont like zen games obvs. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this game and its really cool getting stoned to some music and jumping on floating logs while this Jarvis guy (the dreamlord) sets the whole thing up. It feels similar to Only If in the atmosphere of it, though it's much more frustrating. Overall I'd say A+.I havent finished it, I've hardly played it for half an hour but its a great timekiller and if you get it in the NRS bundle it's even better. These guys are great Devs and i hope they keep up the good work.
